I love Christmas! I love the smells, the sounds, the snow, the excitement and anticipation, the shopping, the stress(wierd I know), but most of all I love the trees! Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with me. I have very little spare time, and in December, pretty much no spare time...but I manage to find as much time as needed to decorate my trees. This year I have 6! I know, what was I thinking. It took me about 2 weeks to complete the decorating of house and trees. I had to squeeze in a little where I could. But I am proud to say that when we left for Washington my Christmas decorations were up. Yes, that means I had to start the middle of November. It was kind of strange to see Christmas stuff around the house so early. Here is a little preview of "my trees"...
My Tree;D
Landon's

Brylee's

Downstairs Family Room-The "Kid Tree"-I love this tree. It has a lot of homemade ornaments, Hallmark ornaments, and ornaments with the kids pictures made at school.

Living room tree. No ornaments. Just lights.

My favorite ornament. With a house full of girls, I know they have thought this about Landon:)

I have all kinds of things wired into this tree.

I have been so excited to see the Twilight movie. I had to wait longer than most because I wanted to hold out and see it with my sister and nieces when we were in Washington. It was well worth the wait, and the anticipation made it even sweeter! I bought twilight shirts for all the girls. I wanted to get fangs for the guys but Val told me no. Imagine! Well, all the girls looked cute anyway:) I knew the movie would not do the book justice, but I was surprised how well they did. I loved it. I have seen it twice and want to squeeze in another this week:) Anyone want to go?

The back of the girls shirts say, "The Forbidden Fruit Tastes the Sweetest."

The backs of our shirts say, "What if I'm not the hero? What if I'm the bad guy?" :)

Twilight Family-Even Landon liked the movie!

I have been a loser blogger lately. My blogging has consisted of blog stalking with no contributions! It's not that I haven't wanted to contribute. It's called no time and a stupid computer! Josh will be here in a few weeks and will fix all my computer issues. Merry Christmas to me;D Thanksgiving 2008 is now behind us with just the memories left and what memories we have. We were able to spend Thanksgiving with my sister Michelle and her family in Vancouver Washington. We were gone for 6 days and they flew by. Every minute with the Chapman family is so much fun. My sister has 4 kids and their ages are close to my kids ages so needless to say, many vacations over the years have been spent with them. I miss them so much and wish we lived a little closer. I was able to see my sister Michelle, her husband Mark, all four of their kids, Casey, Ashley and her husband Logan, their new baby Baylor(the cutest baby ever), Kyle and MacKenzie, my brother Jonathan, his fiance Whitney and their little girl(my youngest niece) Ivy. There is nothing like family and I love mine so much!! I miss my other brothers and sisters that I was not able to be with. Below are some random pictures of our time with the Chapman's.....

Brianne, Lexie and Ashley on the train going into Portland to see the tree lighting.

Sisters!

Portland tree lighting. The tree was beautiful, the weather was perfect. Not too cold...Yeah!

Best friends:)

Lexie and me:)

Hirschi family

Multnomah Falls, Oregon. There is a shot of this waterfall and bridge at the end of the Twilight movie. We were so excited when we saw it. We hiked Multnomah Wed. before Thanksgiving and went to the movie that night. It made us feel even more connected to the movie since we were just there!
My Niece, Ivy. She is so adorable:)
MacKenzie, Landon and Brylee in our car on the way to Multnomah

We switched passengers along the way. Brianne, Kyle, Ashley, Lexie. Baylor is also in the car but only part of his blanket can be seen.

Our nutrious breakfast on the road to Washington!
